Opening a New Account
Life Event: Moving from another bank, Opening an account for your new baby, Switching from another bank
What do you need?
- Unexpired Driver's License with current address,
- OR unexpired State ID with current address,
- OR unexpired Passport and residential address verification
- Social Security Number and birth date
- Minors (under 17) should provide: student picture ID AND Social Security card OR birth certificate
Changing Name/Adding a Name to an Existing Account
Life Event: Marriage, Divorce, Changing to a joint account
What do you need?
- Proof of new name (divorce decree, marriage license, updated identification card or driver's license)
- When adding a name to an account, person joining the account must show proof as if they are opening a new account (above). Both parties must complete and sign a form to complete the change.
- You must come into the branch to authorize these types of changes.
